Mug Gifts Under $10!

It's holiday season again and as much as we LOVE getting gifts, the process of gifting can be quite tough. Recently, I was given the responsibility of gifting 2 teachers , so I thought what better than the classical mug basket.

Items In Basket:

Dollar Tree
Thank You Cards
Gold Bows
Fake Flowers

Ferrero Rocher
Trident Gum

The other items were a permanent marker and I found a cake pop stick in my baking drawer. It's optional to include a gift card but without the card the total comes to about $7. After you get the items all you have to do is arrange them however you like and you're done!

Diwali DIY!

Today I present to you a

 2 minute lantern.

-2 regular sized post-it's
-Paint/White out Pen
-Tape (optional)

1. Draw a design on 1 post it

2. Attach the two post-its. 1 post-it with the sticky side up and the drawn post-it goes overlaps a little on the sticky part. Then do the same on the other side so it makes a circle.

3. Tape down the edges that stick out for a cleaner finish.

Chennai Express Background Music

By reading the title you're probably wtf is she talking about or wtf is she doing with her life. First, I don't have the answers to the questions above myself and second I have finally found something that gives part of my soul peace. Most of you don't care about bollywood movies, and frankly neither do I but ever since I watched Chennai Express for the first time 2-3 years ago the soundtrack has been stuck in my head.

Like most people I went to google and found one ray of hope, the basic score. But that''s not all I wanted. I wanted all of the background music.

Recently, I discovered the mix of all the background music together and my soul is finally at peace. God bless who ever made the mix.

Hope you guys liked this post even though it wasn't "normal"

Recent Reads..

Reading is one of my favourite things to do but I also like keeping track of what I've read. To do that I have 2 tools. 1. My Reading Diary  If you don't already know what goodreads is then go ahead and check it out by clicking here

So now to my recent reads.. (drumroll)...

1. Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter

I didn't really like the book. I thought it was really slow and didn't have that good of a plot line. However, the author was really good at end of chapter cliff hangers so that's what got me through the book.

2.City of Heavenly Fire By Cassandra Clare

YAYYY!!! I finally completed the whole Mortal Instruments Series! It's an amazing series you should definitely go read it if you haven't already.
Currently Reading

1. Fairytale's from the Brothers Grimm

It's not exactly a novel but I do enjoy reading fairytales so I thought why not?

2.The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

Technically I'm not reading I'm listening to the book but I thought I would stick it in here. I'm reading it through an app called Hoopla. You should go check out your local library and see if they have paired up with this app. It gives you access to a bunch of audiobooks , e-books, music and movies for FREEE!!

Summer Doings

Ahh!! It's summer and it's quite possibly the best time to read. You have so much free time to snuggle up with almost anywhere. (Waiting for books you can read in the shower) Most summers I catch up on  shows but this year I was hoping to do some reading as well. So far I've found a library and read 2 books.

1.Looking for Alaska By John Green
Prachi's already done a review on the book to click here to go to that post!

2.Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas By James Patterson

This book was a really good summer read in my opinion. Sweet and short. Also, the book had a really interesting plot line in my opinion.

Here's a short summary (From :
Katie Wilkinson has finally found the perfect man - but one day he suddenly disappears, leaving behind only a diary written by a new mother named Suzanne for her baby, Nicholas. In it she intimately reveals the romance between herself and the child's father, her hopes for their marriage, and her unparalleled joy in motherhood. As Katie reads on, she realizes that the man s ...more
Along with these fabulous reads I've watched 2 shows.
1.Gossip Girl
This show was supposed to be a chill out show not a show that I obsessed over. What can I say. I love Gossip Girl and I can still say that I very much have a Gossip Girl hangover. (Trying not to spoil the show!!)

2. Parks and Recreation

So far I've watched 2 seasons and this show is hilarious. This is my chill out show as of now but watch it turn into an obsession.

If I Stay....

I would rate this book a 3.5 out of 5 because I didn’t feel that this book amused me. It was also really boring in the beginning and it took me a while to get hooked onto the plot line. Although I liked how the main character was a strings player and since I myself am a strings player I guess you can say I made a connection. Another factor was the romantic aspect. I thought it was really lame and the romance could have been cuter and more interesting rather than being really lame with the same old same old. I would not recommend this book to my classmates because I was bored by the end of the book and only finished it so I wouldn’t feel bad when I watched the movie.( I haven’t watched it yet.)

Also, since Prachi hasn't done book reviews in a while I might be doing  a couple. :)

Things I've Been Loving....

Today's post is kind of like a favorites but I didn't have a designated month to assign them too. So, lets get started.

1. Avengers Age Of Ultron

What a better way to start off this post than by the Avengers! There are no words to describe how much I loved this movie! I went to go watch it on opening night with my cousins and to add to the wonderful night dressed up people came outside the theater.

2. The Mortal Instruments

I know that Prachi has already done a post on this series so I wouldn't say a lot except that the romance part of this series is amazing! Click here for Prachi's review!

3. Cafe Espresso Frapuccino

I never have been much of a Coffee person but can I say that this is amazing. It definitely has the coffee taste and gives you quite an energy boost.

4. Garnier BB Cream

I hate moisturizing but I love this BB cream. It moisturizes and evens my skin tone. (Wear in morning after toner)

Add lemme just add how I feel after I do my makeup on the weekends:

5.Perfect People

Now for a bunch of people who I think are perfect.

Blake Lively

Leighton Meester

Jennifer Lawrence

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder

Deepika Padukone

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Emma Watson

and the list shall continue :)

Hope you guys liked this post :)
