(Almost) Homemade Pizza

A few days ago we bought a pizza kit from Costco, and we decided to make a pizza.

Pizza Base from Pizza Kit

Tomato Sauce from Pizza Kit

Homegrown green bell pepper

Trader Joe's Frozen Artichoke Hearts

Trader Joe's Frozen Pineapple Tidbits

A Fresh homegrown tomato

A homegrown onion

Trader JOe's Grilled Asparagus Spears

Here are all the veggies together and then seasoned with oregano, italian seasoning, and black pepper

We also added Kirkland Signature Mexican Style Blend Cheese and we shredded a big hunk of mozzarella which was also from costco

Instead of just tomato sauce, we also added Kirkland Signature Basil Pesto

1. Spread the tomato sauce on the pizza base.

2. Add the vegetables

3. Add the pesto

4. Sprinkle cheese on top

5. Put the pizza in the oven

6. Enjoy!

Though the pizza was fun to make not all parts of it were as good as expected. The base and the sauce were bland and didn't fullfill our taste buds. However, the pesto and the vegetables creatd a wonderful mixture that covered that up. Overall, I would give this 3.5 stars/5.
