Quick Makeup Look + Our Diwali/Eid Photos

It's been a while hasn't it. Anyways, I promise there will be more posts from my side I was just suffering some technical difficulties!

Here's our makeup look. this is just some eyeliner on the top and the bottom part of my eye. By the bottom I mean the little white/pink line. My eyelashes are pretty long on their own, but I wanted to feel the festive look so  I applied one coat of mascara. Lastly, I added a very light coat of gold eyeshadow, just enough for you to know that it's there. I don't add much execpt maybe for a little bit of lipstick!

My bottom=Waterline

Now for our Diwali/Eid Photos!
(I don't have alot of Eid photos!)

Speak

My Synopsis: Melinda is a girl who's summer has been difficult. She starts high school without friends but ends up making and reuniting with a few.

Review: This is a really good book which should be read by everyone. It explains a lot of challenges of going through high school. You can learn a lot by reading this book and really feel a lot of emotions. It's definitely worth reading and you can see what happens if a person doesn't know the full story about something.
There's also a movie based on this book so if I watch it, I may review it.

I'm not sure if there will be a review next week but if there is it will be a spoiler free surprise review.

Pastas Alimenticias de Huevos (Egg Pasta)

First of all, all you Spanish speakers please correct my Spanish in the comments which are located blow this post.(Jackie)

Today I decided to post a recipe that is one of our family favs! Our family has weird taste buds so we all don't necessarily like the same foods which is problem for us. Over the time, my wonderful madre(mom) came up with this excellent recipe!

For my pasta I'm using the Ragu Elbow Style.

Place about  4 cups of pasta in a pot and 1 tspn of salt with 6 cups of water. Bring this mixture to a boil.

While your mixture is boiling go ahead and beat 4 eggs.

If you have time, set out your spices so you don't have to go searching for them last minute!
*This is just an estimated amount so you can put as much as ya like
By now your pasta must have boiled so you can go ahead and drain it. If you want you can slightly rinse it under cold water.
This picture looks a little disturbing ,I know, but that's how it looked. All you did here was take a new pot and mix in the oil, cumin seeds, and Green chili.
Once the eggs looked scrambled enough add in the pasta and mix it some more. Then add in the rest of your spices.

If you want you can garnish the pasta with sup chopped up cilantro. Then your dish is ready!

The Kid Table

My Synopsis: Ingrid's family always uses the Kid Table at family gatherings, but when her cousin doesn't have to sit there anymore, a lot of things change.

Review:  This book was really good! Honestly, I kind of chose it because of the picture on the cover, but the book was great. I think it is kind of underrated. The book has a lot of family connections which I think is important and even though everyone has problems, they manage to work them out and stay together.

Next week's book is Speak By Laurie Halse Anderson

Happy Reading!

Movies To Watch(Released)

This year we've had some amazing movies come out as well as much awaited movies coming soon! So, I thought I'd sum it up for you!

Released
1.Divergent

Read our review by clicking here

2.The Fault In Our Stars

This was again made from a book! This movie was loved by us teens but it's yet to be watched by me! Read the review of the book here.

3.Maleficent

Yet another Disney movie but I found the whole movie a bit of a bore after watching movies like Captain America The Winter Soldier.

4.Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I absolutely loved this movie! It has an amazing twist in the movie and keeps us on our toes! Also, the after credit scene is amazing and justs excites you more for the next marvel movie.

5. The Amazing Spider-Man 2

This movie was ok but had a tragic ending. I liked part of the plot but felt that there was too much emotional drama going on and the ending was a bit abrubt.

6.Gaurdians of the Galaxy

This movie was a complete blast with the whole family. It did have some launguage but other than that and the obvious fighting it was amazing! I loved all the characters but felt the drax could have had a  bigger role.

7. X-Men Days of Future Past

This movie is one of my favourites. I loved the whole movie and the exiting plot. If you're new to this series be sure to watch X-Men First Class to get up to date.

8.The Maze Runner

This movie I haven't watched but have heard many good reviews about.

9.Transformers: Age of Extinction

Not a huge Transformers fan but I'm going to try to watch all the movies!

10.The Giver

The book was wonderful and I haven't watched the movie. I know *cringe* I have a lot of watching to do.

11.If I Stay

I wish to read the book and also watch the movie..Please don't hate me.

That's all for this years top released movies. Stay tuned for the upcoming movies!
