The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices

I compiled all the TMI book reviews on to one post and I included the Infernal Devices so enjoy!

City of Bones

City of Bones is the first book in the Mortal Instruments series.
Here is a summary from the series' website:
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in
New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder — much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Clary knows she should call the police, but it's hard to explain a murder when the body disappears into thin air and the murderers are invisible to everyone but Clary.
Equally startled by her ability to see them, the murderers explain themselves as Shadowhunters: a secret tribe of warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. Within twenty-four hours, Clary's mother disappears and Clary herself is almost killed by a grotesque demon.
But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know....

Review: The Mortal Instruments is an amazing series, with City of Bones giving it an excellent startI'll admit that at first I didn't really like it. I predicted the ending before reading it. But then BOOM, Cassandra Clare gives us an excellent plot twist in City of Ashes! So I started to love the series. An Cassandra Clare is seriously the queen of plot twists!
Anyway, City of Bones is a really good book and you should definitely read it.

City of Ashes
Here is the synopsis from the official Mortal Instruments website: WARNING SPOILERS The review following contains No spoilers.
Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in
a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like
werewolves, vampires, and faeries? If Clary left the world of the  Shadowhunters behind, it would mean more time with her best friend, Simon, who's becoming more than a friend. But the Shadowhunting world isn't ready to let her go — especially her handsome, infuriating, newfound brother, Jace. And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably insane, certainly evil —and also her father.
To complicate matters, someone in New York City is murdering Downworlder children. Is Valentine behind the killings —and if he is, what is he trying to do? When the second of the Mortal Instruments, the Soul-Sword, is stolen, the terrifying Inquisitor arrives to investigate and zooms   right in on Jace. How can Clary stop Valentine if Jace is willing to   betray everything he believes in to help their father?
Review: I thought the book was pretty good. I loved it and it is very surprising... Ya I don't have much to say other than go read it.

City of Glass

City of Ashes is the third book in the Mortal Instruments Series.

I'm gonna skip the synopsis this time. If you want to read one just Google it.

Review: This book was seriously amazing!!!!!!! I don't know what to say without giving too much away. I don't know if I should say this but PLOT TWISTS  man just plot twists. The ending may be kind of surprising but this is really good. Just wait until you read City of Fallen Angels.

City of Fallen Angels

Once again no synopsis.
Review: OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like just ahhh AMAZING JUST BRILLIANT!!!! the plot twists though like just yah
must read amazing
SO This is excellent. The beginning is kind of confusing if u know what I mean but ya

City of Lost Souls

Sorry no synopsis I'll try though. So basically... ya I can't do this without spoilers so READ THE BOOK

Review: This book it good and it gets really intense in some parts. You start to doubt yourself and Just ahhh!

City of Heavenly Fire

No synopsis cuz i cant do without spoilers
Review: City of Heavenly Fire was a pretty good ending to the series. The beginning went by really fast but it was good. There were some parts I liked SPOILERS like the parts about Tessa and Jem and how they defeated Sebastian. Other parts MORE SPOILERS like how Simon lost his memory I didn't like. All in all it was a good ending to the series

The Infernal Devices

SO basically the Infernal Devices is a prequel to the Mortal Instruments. There are names you might recognize and you might be able to figure out that some people in the Infernal Devices are ancestors of those in TMI. Anyway I wont say too much cuz I don't want to give anything away but its good. And there is a big connection with something else but I wont say anything.

This series was really good. It was probably more emotional than TMI but I think there was less action. I personally didn't like TID as much as TMI but I know people who liked TID better. Anyway there is something at the end of Clockwork Princess which connect to something in City of Heavenly Fire! I can't wait!

Hope you enjoyed the series and reviews!
There is going to be another series called the Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare so I might review those once they come out.
