Nan-Khatai



Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all purpose flour/maida
  • 1/2 cup butter(at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom/elaichi powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt 

Steps:


Mix the butter,powdered sugar,baking soda ,salt ,elaichi powder.To the above mixture add flour and make dough out of it.Keep aside for 20 minutes. Pre-Heat oven at 375 degrees F. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and flatten them and put nuts on top . Bake them for 20 minutes .Remove them and let them cool on rack.Then enjoy these melt in the mouth NanKhatai's. -Thing One
